Caponata is a beautiful Sicilian dish made with fried aubergines, other cooked vegetables in a sweet & sour ('agrodolce' in Italian) sauce. Alicos Caponata is prepared following a traditional recipe & uses only extra virgin olive oil. Serve as a side dish (or 'contorno') with meat or fish, or simply spread on toasted bread for a delicious antipasto. Gluten free & vegan.
